I no longer own the business called karyl Pope & Associates. I do continue to work with individuals or couples in Dundas. The long term ongoing groups that I ran for 30 some years are now carried on by Jane Vollick and Darrell Green, in Burlington.

My rates are $120 per hourly session and that includes an ongoing conversation between us via written “homework”. You can email homework to me or bring it in longhand when you come. Either way, I will return it with my comments in longhand, when I see you I have a long tradition of working together with my clients as a team. We both write and we both use our powers of observation and reason, to figure out what went wrong and what would be most helpful now. Although problems often show up as difficulties with other people, they sometimes have originated at a much earlier time in that person's life. You may need to heal old hurts, deprivations and disappointments if it becomes apparent that they are somehow enmeshed with present problems. The mind is not always rational. Sometimes you may be surprised to find old reasons for present feelings and beliefs. And once you see them, they tend to repair themselves. I can support you as you consider other points of view, find new and better responses and get better results in dealing with current aggravations and upsets.
