I am now semi retired and see only 2 or 3 clients a week. I have closed my Burlington office. The two groups I had previously are now run by Jane Vollick and Darrell Green whose work is very similar to mine. . I see private clients only in Dundas on Mondays from noon through the evening.. If these times do not work for you I can suggest the names of therapists who worked with me at Karyl Pope & Associates for ten plus years.

They are David Taylor (artist@worlchat.com), Debbie Yates (p.deborah.yates@on.aibn.com) and Darlene Groves (Grov5@aol.com) Darlene works Tuesdays only. If you need someone who takes insurance clients I recommend Susan Tasker (susan.tasker@sentinelcare.ca) or Jane Vollick (jvollick@sympatico.ca)

My rates are $150 per hourly session and that includes an ongoing conversation between us via written “homework”. You can email homework to me or bring it in longhand when you come. Either way, I will return it with my comments in longhand, when I see you, with explanatory comments that will help you to 1) understand better the events and circumstances you have described and 2) resolve old hurts, deprivations and disappointments. I will also be writing thought provoking questions to help you to consider other points of view or to find new and better responses and get better results in dealing with current aggravations and upsets. If you would like to see the guidelines I give folks for the writing I would be happy to send you the ones called “Your Story” and “The Story of Your Relationship” whether or not you decide to work with me. Just email me and ask. Some clients have suggested that the written work quadruples the results they get from the sessions.

I put serious thought into my responses and expect the same degree of commitment from my clients.
